Two navigation bars, and a 60-link menu that mixes reading with building
OpenMediumFailurenewsroom.sgit.ai
What we saw
A second bar of nine links repeats the menu. The menu holds about 60 links in nine groups (57 links in 8 groups when the lab mapped it), mixing reader pages (Newsletter, Collections) with builder pages (Replicate, Admin, Release history, The run log).
Why it matters
The reader has to sort the publication from the workshop themselves, twice.
The fix
One navigation. The publication on top; the workshop behind one item with its own front page.
The record
| Status | Open |
| Severity | Medium |
| Kind | Failure: works against the reader |
| Product | newsroom.sgit.ai, site |
| Where | https://newsroom.sgit.ai/ |
| Problems | Overload, Builder chrome |
| Visibility | Obvious: every reader sees it, every time they reach that point |
| Recommendation | Move it to the workshop: take builder things off reader pages, one link away |
| Area | Navigation |
| Breaks | The publication is not the workshop |
