A highlight across paragraphs is cut at the first paragraph

What we saw
Selecting text that spans two paragraphs and tapping Highlight keeps only the part in the first.
Why it matters
The reader loses part of what they chose to keep, without being told.
The fix
Store highlights as ranges across blocks, or refuse the selection with a message.
