Three different article counts
OpenMediumFailurenewsroom.sgit.ai
What we saw
sgit.ai said 72, the newsroom home said 67, llms.txt said 66, on the same day.
Why it matters
When a site cannot count itself, the reader doubts every other number on it.
The fix
Generate every count from one manifest at build, and fail the release if any page disagrees.
The record
| Status | Open. wire.json says 73 in v0.7.1; the three surfaces were not re-compared. |
| Severity | Medium |
| Kind | Failure: works against the reader |
| Product | newsroom.sgit.ai, site |
| Where | https://newsroom.sgit.ai/ |
| Problems | Inconsistent facts |
| Visibility | Subtle: felt more than seen: it costs attention or trust, but is not noticed as a bug |
| Recommendation | Generate from one source: publish once and generate every copy, count and label from one manifest |
| Area | Consistency |
| Breaks | One source of truth for every fact |
| Observed | 2026-10-11, v0.6.4 |
