# Search results show no snippets

## What we saw

The findability prototype searches a 98 KB term index; results are cards with no matching text.

## Why it matters

A reader cannot see why a result matched, so cannot judge it before opening.

## The fix

Snippets from the markdown twins, within a size budget, or computed on a site page rather than in the vault.
