# Filters cannot be shared

## What we saw

Choosing a topic on the article list does not change the address.

## Why it matters

You cannot send a contact "the security articles"; you can only send the whole list and an instruction.

## The fix

Put every filter in the address (/articles/?desk=security, or in the path where query strings are not allowed).
